ELEMENTS OF POETRY - live Zoom workshop
This class will take place live on ZOOM for 8 weeks beginning January 29th, 2025 from
6-8pm
In this live ZOOM Poetry workshop, we will meet weekly (8 weeks) to learn about six “ELEMENTS OF POETRY” that the instructor will highlight as tools for writing and editing your poems. While many of us write from organic, intuitive origins, at some point it is good to look at core elements of great poetry. We will then read and discuss poems written by students in a supportive group setting, as well as observe how local and international poets use these devices. Resources for reading poetry and finding ideas for new poems will also be provided.
You will receive an email with additional information and we will communicate throughout the course via email.
